Coaching Staff

A former co-captain of the Syracuse University men's soccer team,Jeff earned various honors including the 1995 Big East Rookie of The Year. Jeff has become one of Syracuse's best known players and coaches.This Chittenango native played professionally for the A-League Lehigh Valley Steam and the Syracuse Salty Dogs and is currently the Director of Youth and Scholastic Soccer at the Sports Centre as well as the varsity coach at Fulton High School.

A former CNY high school standout and co-captain at Baldwinsville, Anthony played college soccer for the Rochester Institute of Technology. Rick was a three-time All-Empire 8 selection and lead the Empire Eight Conference in scoring his junior year. He also helped lead the Tigers to two consecutive conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances. Rick has been a staff member and coach at The CNY Family Sports Centre since its inception in 1996. Rick was named runner up for the 2005-2006 NYSW Boys Coach of the Year honor at the recent Awards Banquet.

Kurima is currently the Head Boys Soccer Coach at West Genesee High School. He led the team to a section III co-championship in 2002. He is the Director of the boys' soccer camps for Town of Camillus Parks & Recreation. Kurima played at Hobart College and holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, NSCAA National GK Diploma, and a USSF E License.

Coach Kincaid played soccer for the Baldwinsville Bees, and also during his collegiate years at Keuka College and SUNY at Oswego. Dan is currently the Baldwinsville JV boys Head Coach as well as the Head Coach of the Women's Open Empire State Games. In the past, he has also been the Head Coach for the Varsity Girls Soccer Team at Phoenix High School. Coach Kincaid has also been a referee for the Section III High School soccer games.

Kevin played four years of varsity soccer for Liverpool High School and then went on to play soccer at Plattsburgh State University. McGrane was the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at SUNY Potsdam for 2 years while he earned his Master's Degree in Elementary Education. He helped coach SUNY Potsdam to its first Sunyac playoff berth in school history. McGrane is currently the Assistant Boy's Varsity Coach at Liverpool High School. He teaches third grade in the Liverpool School District.

He has lived and played soccer in Germany and Australia and holds a U.S.S.F. D Coaching License in addition to the NSCAA National Diploma. He has formerly coached at Cazenovia College and Cayuga C.C., He is now the Head Coach of the State University of New Yorks College of Environmental Science and Forestrys Mens and Womens Soccer Programs.Dan is also the Assistant Coach for the CNY United Mens PASL Team.

A former standout player at Baldwinsville & Faith Heritage where he was named 1st team All-CNY in 2000. Jon then took his game to LeMoyne College where he was a four year scholar-athlete & a key player that helped LeMoyne to a school record 17-2-1 in his senior year. Jon holds a USSF National D coaching License. In 2005 Jon coached the Central Womens Open team in the Empire State Games. He currently coaches the CNY United U12 girls and has many years experience coaching camps & clinics at the Sports Centre. In the fall of 2007 Jon will take on the roll as Assistant Coach of the Men's Soccer team at Cayuga Community College.

Coach Scheemaker is entering his 10th year at Baldwinsville and his Varsity record now stands at 106-48-11. The Bees played to a 9th consecutive winning season last year. Coach Scheemaker has twice been recognized as the league coach of the year and was also selected as Section III co-coach of the year in 2001. He is also actively involved with the Baldwinsville Youth Soccer Association (BYSA)and has earned his USSF ﾓCﾔ coaching license and USSF Advanced National Diploma. He will be coaching the Boys Scholastic Empire State Games team this summer.

A former member of the Corcoran Cougars Varsity soccer team, Katie was a key offensive player. She went on to play and study at SUNY Potsdam, where she was a 4 year starter on the squad. Katie just finished as an assistant for the Corcoran HS girl's Varsity soccer team. Her coaching career is just beginning, but her desire to become a great coach will certainly help our teams within CNY United FC. She will pursue her E license within this upcoming year.

Scott has been coaching recreational, club and premiere level youth soccer for 20 years in North Carolina, New Jersey and New York. Scott played his youth soccer with the Allendale Americans and Torpedos of Northern New Jersey. He was a midfield standout and garnered county and state honors while playing at Northern Highlands Regional High School in New Jersey. Scott attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Scott is currently the Boys Junior Varsity Head Coach at Marcellus High School and will also be leading the CNY United Youth Academy beginning fall 2007.

Darren who is from Dublin Ireland, has played Soccer since he was 5 years old, playing for one of the Best Youth Soccer Clubs in Ireland Cherry Orchard F.C. from the age of 9 up to 18 years old. A former Irish U-15, U-16 and U-18 International Goalkeeper. Darren has earned himself 27 appearances (caps) for his country at underage level. He also played 6 years Professional in Ireland with Sligo Rovers and Home Farm (Dublin City F.C.) in the Eircom National Premier Division and Division 1 Leagues. Now at 29 years old, he holds a FAI Senior Coaching License, A Level 2 Goalkeeping License, UFEA B License, NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma and a USSF National C' License. Darren is one of the youngest Coaches to hold a Senior License in Ireland. The 2003 to 2005 seasons saw Darren Coaching St. Alban's City F.C U-18 and their Mid-Week Youths team who play in the FA Youths Cup. Now he comes to CNY United with vast experience and knowledge under his belt and a fresh European style of play. Darren will be the Head Coach of the U18 Boys, U15 Boys Elite and U14 Girls. He also is the Head Coach for the Boys Junior Varsity Orange Team at Liverpool High School and Assistant Head Coach for the Central Women's Open Team that participates in the Empire State Games. Darren is also Asst. Coach for the 1994 NYSW ODP Team. Darren is also the Goalkeeper for the PASL Semi Pro CNY United Mens Team.
